Local Organizing Committee

The Local Organizing Committee established to ensure the successful delivery of the International Federation of Surveyors Annual Meeting 2026 in Istanbul is a multidisciplinary and institutional structure composed of representatives of the Turkish Chamber of Geomatics Engineers and the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre.

The Committee is responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of the event and aims to manage the process in an effective, transparent, and compliant manner, in line with the standards of the International Federation of Surveyors and international event organization requirements. The Local Organizing Committee continues all preparations within the scope of the International Federation of Surveyors Annual Meeting 2026 through regular meetings and formally recorded decisions, under the joint hosting and close cooperation of the Turkish Chamber of Geomatics Engineers and the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre.

The work of the Local Organizing Committee covers supporting the scientific programme, coordinating logistical and operational arrangements, ensuring communication with national and international stakeholders, and delivering participant services effectively. In alignment with the coordination process carried out with the International Federation of Surveyors, the Committee adopts a holistic management approach throughout all phases of the event.
